The Forgotten Mythos is a universe/multiverse consisting of an infinite number of timelines, varying sometimes by only the slightest of details, overlapping at certain pivotal moments, and generally encompassing and building upon a broad mythology and history. Many of my writings will likely involve FM in some form or fashion, even just as a passing reference, so I consider it a sort of core to my writing projects, even if not all of my writing will be mythological in nature.
A major point within FM is the existence of several "realms," which can, cosmologically, be equated to the planes of Dungeons and Dragons or, in some senses, to planets that are linked together through the workings of magic. That is not to say that these realms are tangibly located near each other in space; in fact, very few of them are visible to each other across the aether of space without significant magical or technical assistance. Userahin (sometimes Os'rahn) is one such realm that I happened to put more focus on than the others at one point. I've collected all the Userahin stories in the titular subsection below.
To save someone dear to him, an apprentice of ancient magic makes it his mission to kill a god.
An angry god gives in to his wrath in this "historical" legend from the Forgotten Mythos.
A scholar finds a dagger rumored to be cursed.
After years of a mentor-mentee relationship, two men face off over irreconcilable differences.
The Dwarf of the Graelid Mountains
A recounting of the Parley at Peak's Eye, at the end of the Age of War.
A goddess finds friends - and enemies - among the humans near her tribe.
Religious differences raise tensions in the city of Lellesh'nyr.
A young woman finds a crew to sail out towards the unknown.
A woman on the verge of death manages to survive thanks to a powerful new ally.
A goliath explorer stumbles upon two artefacts that change the course of his life.
